MINDSHOP EXCELLENCE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Your participation in a Mindshop Excellence Program makes you eligible to apply for a Mindshop Excellence Achievement Award. There are four individual awards of $250 presented annually, two mid year and two at the end of each year. These are awarded to students who show us they have initiative and are designed to inspire your continuous personal improvement.

The award topic is: “HOW WOULD A $250 AWARD BENEFIT YOU PERSONALLY?”

Would you use all or part of the award for your Personal Development?

Examples may be –

  • The purchase of text books
  • Enrolling in a public speaking course
  • Extra tutoring in a school subject that needs improving
  • Hiring a musical instrument

Would you use all or part of the award to assist some way in your Community by giving Value to Others?

Examples may be –
  • The purchase of Xmas gifts for a retirement home
  • Uniforms for your sporting club
  • Take a disadvantaged friend/neighbour to a concert/show/ballet

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Students applying for this award will be required to make use of the following Business and Personal Improvement tools taught during their Mindshop Excellence Program. They are the: (a) ‘Now, Where, How’ Process & (b) One Page Plan

2. You should use your Excellence Manual or CD to assist you with this application. If you no longer have your manual or CD, you can view the above tools on www.mindshop.com by selecting ‘Excellence’ from the top grey toolbar.

3. You are to use the “Now ,Where, How’ process on yourself to answer the award topic shown above. Finally prepare a ‘One Page Plan’ to show us ‘How a $250 award would benefit you personally.

4. Members of the Mindshop Educational Trust Board will judge submissions on individual merit. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Applications for ‘2005 Mindshop Excellence Achievement Award’ close on November 5 th 2005. No late entries will be accepted.
